I've found that if you expose your kids to "good" food early on, they will appreciate it. Mine did.

Mary- Thanks. I'm so glad you enjoy the blog. The Omnivore's Dilemma is quite eye-opening, isn't it? I'm working my way through it too.

Lyb- Thank you very much! My daughter never set foot in McDonald's until she was 5 years old, for a birthday party. We used to go there occasionally, but not often. To this day (she is 14), she has never had a McDonald's hamburger. I was always too paranoid about e coli. However, by the time she was 2, she was ordering at the sushi bar and asking for Indian and Thai food. Quirky kid!Susan @ SGCChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00156812413651058664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6834264313759237349.post-14652984092502071502008-01-22T22:11:00.000-05:002008-01-22T22:11:00.000-05:00Very cool post! Also my 7 year old doesn't even ask for McDonald's anymore when we eat out, she likes a mixed vegetables dish at a great Japanese restaurant. Now if only my 4 year old son could do the same!LyBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17504659088765433358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6834264313759237349.post-88904191407053156972008-01-20T21:01:00.000-05:002008-01-20T21:01:00.000-05:00Just started reading The Omnivore's Dilema with my...Just started reading The Omnivore's Dilema with my husband....great so far!
