That just means that YOU get to eat it all as opposed to having to share it with guests...

Now I understand why the instructions say to let it cool for 10 minutes first ! I never knew why it would say that -

Hope you have a good weekend.

What a shame, it happens to all of us once in a while :)
Just scoop it in a nice bowl, a dollop op mascarpone on top and it's your rustic apple dessert!

Aw that's a shame. Can you send the pieces to Italy? ;)

I don't get it. What's the problem? I WISH that would happen to me, right now, with a huge cup of coffee, please.

Still looks delicious, as always.

That was a mistake?? A cake??? What kind??? I actually thought it looked like a yummy popover muffin type o'thing. I'll still eat it.

Kind of looks like one of Rachael Ray's stuffin muffin's that she is famous for.......eeeeck sorry for that!

I really have a hard time waiting for things to cool. Especially baked things... nothing beats freshly baked bread still warm from the oven even if the recipe says to let it cool for several hours. :)

awww..haha..we've all done that :)

Oh this has happened to me so many times. It's such a bummer isn't it.

I usually just then serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla on top...it's literally a crumble then.

Been there, done that. Oy.

Still looks yummy to me! I say, spoon the pieces into a bowl, top it with vanilla ice cream and serve it with spoons. If anyone scoffs, they don't get any! :)

Oh I hate that! So sorry!

I thought maybe it was a stuffed potato skin or something of some sort. in its torn apart state, I couldn't quite even tell what it was! But boy have I done that before myself....

Sometimes it's so hard to be patient... guess we all get the chance to learn that one once in awhile, huh? :)

This is when philly cream icing can really come into its own!

Still looks good to me. Give me a clump from the edges and I'm happy.

Come on, Susan! Torta di mele doesn't have to be a perfect circle at all to be enjoyed-- in fact, all the better to pinch off little bits of it with your fingers when you feel like it, hee! :)
